Antoine L Collins - Don't Cry (For Me) (Review)

Check out this Music Review of the new single, ‘Don’t Cry (For Me)’ released by Antoine L. Collins

Antoine L. Collins is an artist and songwriter with a passion for personal lyrics and beautiful melodies. He recently dropped a brand new single titled “Don’t Cry (For Me)”. As you might evince from the title, the music on this release is actually quite emotional, with a personal twist and some lyrics that are easy to connect with. In fact, most of Antoine’s tracks are all about expressing the story within every song, and this is no exception. As a Chicago native, the artist was influenced by the city’s original wave of house music, and this style is really depicted on this amazing track. It’s all about tightly knit grooves, great melodies, and unique sonic aesthetics with some retro warmth and a lot of punch.

The sound of the instrumental track is dark, deep, and textural, and Antoine’s sultry vocals reminds of influential artists such as Hercules and Love Affair, as well as Kele Okereke, only to mention but a few. If you like electronic music with some massively appealing hooks, this release is definitely going to be a good fit with your heavy rotation!
