Artistrack brings to you ‘CEDAR KEY’ by Tom Davis
CEDAR KEY is a lively song with bit of introspection. Singer/Songwriter TOM DAVIS was living in Florida and had gone through several hurricanes and tropical storms in 2005-05. In early spring of 2006, he retreated to a little island in the Gulf of Mexico called CEDAR KEY to decompress. He brought his guitar, a bottle of rum, a notebook and a stash of cash for this little trip. With a nod and a bit of an homage to the late Jimmy Buffet, this song was born. It appears on the EP SIXTY-TWO by TOM DAVIS where this song and all others on it have been nominated at one time or another for International Red Carpet Music Awards for Independent Artists.
