The Dye – Dance Away

Check out, ‘Dance Away’ by The Dye

The Dye is the edgy rock sound of the musical/artistic blend of Bruno Arredondo and Eudora Ellis who met at Berklee College of Music. A songwriting dynamic duo who bring a certain melancholy from departures to their art and the sense and rhythm of traveling. The Dye creates a sonic experience for old souls bringing notes of mysticism, psychedelia, romance and self exploration. While listening to their music one delves through a certain contemporary intellectual journey, their songs are dark and at times playful, dreamy and painted with an aura of lullabies. The Dye is certainly an original and fascinating statement in the 21st century alternative rock scene. Painting The New Night will be The Dye’s second after the first album Poem of Ride also mastered by Joe LaPorta, David Bowie’s Blackstar engineer. The leading single Tantric Pace was chosen as best tune of the month on National Radio show Indie Music Countdown. The new album puts this New York City musical project at a very different level. The album is magnificently produced and mixed by Grammy winner Damon Whittemore. This work of art and sound gives the listener all the sides of the band. A compilation of eleven tunes that have very different personalities, influences, genres and atmospheres! It pases through psychedelic, alternative, post punk, new wave and other different channels, bridges and tunnels arriving to a place of its own… A truly remarkable work of music that one day will be a cult album!
