How long have you been making promoting music?
I have been working in the music promotion industry for a few years now.

I have released one book “From Indie To Empire”
Can you tell us about your book and inspirations behind it?
After spending years in the industry watching bands try, unsuccessfully, to gain their own online exposure, I decided to write my book “From Indie To Empire” to give them something they could use today that would provide seriously effective results.

How have you ended up in the music industry?
I have been playing music for as long as I can remember, but when it comes to the promotional side of things, I learned that through working within the music industry on a business level, and through my music journalism.
What do you think of the music industry in 2017?
We are now in 2017, but I think the industry is fine, you just have to search a bit deeper for greatness.
Many bands, and specific styles, are being promoted by the big wigs, and as such, we are being choked with mediocre bands all day long…but that can be said about almost any time in music.
I have been using Spotify to find new incredible music, and of course, I get to hear some great music from the submissions we receive through our website (www.empiremusicpromotions.com)
Who do you think the most influential artist?
I am influenced by life really, and all of the artists that I enjoy. It would be a disservice to most of them by only mentioning one or two.
Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
As a photographer, I have collaborated with the incredible Tengger Cavalry, by providing them with one of my images titled “Forage And Exist” for their upcoming song “The Path”.
Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?
I would collaborate with Maynard James Keenan any day of the week.
What was the first album you bought?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (Don’t even think about laughing..ok, you can laugh)
What’s your favorite song at the moment?
Marigold by Periphery.
If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your draw?
I will never get rid of Lateralus by TOOL, that is the best album ever made, in my opinion. It has so much depth, that I am still finding new things in the music all these years later.
What is your favorite saying?
Life only asks one thing of you, that you meet it half-way.
What other hobbies or interests do you have?
I am a photographer, author, and a musician…I think travel is definitely in there.
Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?
Right now the project I am focusing on is my new book “From Indie To Empire”, what I am working on next will be in another direction completely.

It’s a secret.
