Interview with ‘Preston Badside’

ArtistRack catches up with Preston Badside for this exclusive interview and insight into his latest release ‘My Way’.

I’m represented by Young Money. I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota and I have been making music for 10 years. If you have not been to one of my shows then ask about me because my shows are live and people really enjoy themselves.

Where are you from?

I’m from Minneapolis, Minnesota

How long have you been making music?

I have been making music for 10 years

How many songs /albums have you released to date?

I can’t remember how many songs I have released because there is so many of them.

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?

My latest release is called My Way. It’s a song about how I live my life.

How have you ended up in the music industry?

Everything is going good for me. I know I’m one of the hottest artists.

What do you think of the music industry in 2021?

I think it’s great. There is always room for improvement and I think if people realize that they don’t need to go mainstream to make money in this industry it will be a lot better.

Who do you think the most influential artist?

Lil Wayne influences me the most.

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?

Ace Capone and I-am.

How do you think you differ from other artists?

Trapsoul is new. There is not a lot of people that are doing it so it makes it a lot easier to say what I want to say in my songs.

Biggie

What was the first album you bought?

The first album I bought was a Eminem album.

What’s your favourite song at the moment?

Mulatto – Youngest N Richest

What other hobbies or interests do you have?

I like to go to the bar and have a good time.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?

I have 3 tattoos.

Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?

I have a show in Vegas on the 21st. April 21, 2021.

What’s in the pipeline after this project?

Hopefully I can continue working on my album.
