Giampaolo Pasquile – What Do You Want

Giampaolo Pasquile - What Do You Want

Giampaolo Pasquile presents his latest track, ‘What Do You Want’ taken off his full album Remote

Giampaolo Pasquile is a record producer and mix engineer who boasts over 150 releases, exceeding 5 million units sold and over 500 million streamed tracks per year.

Originally trained as a classical and jazz pianist, arranger and composer whilst studying at the CPM Music Institute in Milan and then studying Advanced Mix and Mastering Techniques at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Giampaolo has since worked with numerous Italian and foreign artists as well as maintaining steady and prolific contact with recording studios in the United States.

As a result, he has comfortably found his place in the international recording world.
In 2012 he received Platinum and No.3 Gospel Music Awards for his production work. In 2005 he founded the record label PLAY in Milan, which boasts over 15,000 productions of classical, pop, independent, jazz, latin, dance, and disco, some of which are consistently present in the charts of iTunes, Spotify and other streaming services.

Since lockdown, Giampaolo has taken a ‘musical vacation’. Instead of working for other artists and record companies as a record producer, this time he’s taking on the role of the artist and taking the opportunity to collaborate with the friends and contacts he’s made across the world. Re-styling old songs and creating new ones has led to the album titled “REMOTE” which contains No. 7 tracks: 1. What Do You Want – 2. GOLD – 3. What’s Going On – 4. Drinkin’ My Emotions – 5. Tea For Two – 6. Risk It All – 7. Kiss On My List – 8. Until The Rainbows End.

REMOTE was recorded remotely during the quarantine. Giampaolo coordinated several friends and colleagues across the world (U.S. – UK – Europe and Africa) to create a well crafted Pop/Dance sound, concocting a jaw dropping sonic support for him to layer a memorable vocal performance, filled with nuances and climaxes set to elevate our spirits in these difficult times. Giampaolo loves to say, as printed on the album cover art, that was “Recorded remotely and in total safety according to the COVID – 19 legislation”.
