Sixteen years after heating up the airwaves with his debut single, overseas-based reggae singer, Dillgin, is back at it again with the release of a video for his latest single.

April 23, 2017 – Dillgin recently released the official music video for his latest single, “Still a Work” on YouTube. The video was produced and directed by Tre Williams and can be viewed on the YouTube channel for Red Rock Motion Pictures, LLC.

Shot on location in Jamaica, the music video for Still a Work follows closely to the lyrics of the song. It features Dillgin facing a number of struggles and rejections while trying to find employment. The determination of his character to succeed eventually pays off when he receives a call from a friend who is hearing his new song on a top radio station for the first time. With scores of views since its launch, the video has been growing in popularity as the single continues to receive airplay.

Still a Work has been in heavy rotation since being released as a single, helping Dillgin to reconnect with his fan base, locally and overseas. Most notably, it has been played a number of times on local radio station, Irie FM, which is a leading reggae music source in Jamaica. The song is also in heavy rotation in New York and is currently available for download on a number of online music stores, including iTunes and Amazon.

Dillgin, who also wears the hats of DJ, songwriter, and producer, is known for his self-produced 2001 breakout hit Cuss Cuss featuring Mark Ice. The single was featured on the VP Records compilation album, Strictly The Best 27, which has seen the artist going on tours across Europe, the Caribbean, and North America.

Known for creating conscious and uplifting music, Dillgin has also produced music for reggae and dancehall artists such as Sizzla, Beenie Man, Luciano and Anthony B. In addition, he has released several original songs through his own label, Wall Streetz Records, as well as through other companies. His songs include Jah Love is Shining, A Million Miles, and Touch You Baby.

Having relocated to California in 2010, Dillgin has relaunched his music career and is poised to make a comeback in the world of reggae music. In recent times, he has collaborated on records with artists such as Silena Murrell and guitarist Aurelien Metsch, as well as opened for California Rock Band.

The release of Dillgin’s new music video comes as the artist gets ready to launch his new album. His album release party is set for Friday, April 28 at Lost On Main nightclub in Chico, California.
