Burn Like Stars – Hate (Review)

[MUSIC REVIEW] Burn Like Stars introducing a new release: Hate

September 2021 – Burn Like Stars is all about making music that seamlessly blurs the lines between post-hardcore, emo, post-rock and even elements of electronic music. The act’s most recent studio single, “Hate,” features some elements of progressive music in its arrangements, with song structures that do not simply cycle around, but also bring some new details into the fold as the song evolves. The vocals alternate from melodic and clean to brutal and guttural, with some huge screams and ripping guitar tones. The song also comes with a music video, which is beautifully cinematic and shot in such a way that it really stands out, giving the song all the more context and meaning by telling a story through its visuals and imagery.

This one is definitely going to be something for you to check out if you are a fan of artists as diverse as Saosin, A Day To Remember, Dead Rituals, Anberlin or Taking Back Sunday, only to mention a few.
