September 2020 – Blind Tyler is a band based in Canberra, Australia formed 2 years ago by 4 friends. Their sound blurs the lines between a wide variety of styles, including indie, electro-pop, and EDM. The group recently released a new studio single titled “Dad Jokes,” which combines indie atmospherics with lush electronic beats. We love how the watery synth tones blend in with some guitars as well as with a steady beat that never lets the groove of the song fade away into its deep, reverberated textures.
We love how the choruses go massive, aiming for a cool lo-res sampled vocal part and a stunning house break, with the kick going nuclear and the energy of the song flying up to the very next level.
