“Azimuth” is the newest release from The Soularsapiens, a group characterized by their unique funky sound and deep spiritual messages. Their songs are Jazz/Funk influenced Electronic tracks, incorporating grooves from various genres such as Hip-Hop, Rock, Latin, House and many more. Recorded alongside band mates Jeremy Duffy (drums) and Gary Guerrero (percussion, synth), their songs are usually heavy instrumentals tracks, often featuring vocals of lead band member, Ebon Guerrero. This album features instant classics such as title track “Azimuth”, their groovy single “Soul Symphony” and opening track “Ether”, which was influenced by the sounds and styles of UK Broken Beat legend, Kaidi Tatham and Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti.
