The Pyrates Royale announcing the release of their new single, ‘Blood Red Roses’
The Pyrates Royale have been singing sea shanties and drinking songs for 34 years. Spread over 5 states and in the midst of quarantine, the band decided to produce a new album- “The Quarantine Sessions: Songs From the Lazaretto.” This first single, “Blood Red Roses” is a traditional shanty that the PR put their vocal shine on. The harmonies are crisp and stirring, and the distinctive choices the band made in arranging the song truly makes it their own.
