The Groove Project proudly presenting new single, ‘First Flight’
The GROOVE PROJECT is an American musical supergroup formed in 2016 by GRAMMY® Award nominated Musician & Producer ARUN SHENOY. It features a rolling roster of musicians and the current lineup in 2019 is an 8 man musical group, fronted by SHENOY and acclaimed producer MATTHEW SHELL; and also prominently featuring pianist LONNIE PARK and saxophonist MARCUS MITCHELL.
Working on a smooth jazz concept album about man’s fascination with flight, the inspiration for this second single “FIRST FLIGHT” came from the quote by Leonardo da Vinci – “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”
