Born in Columbus Ohio, Crystyle was raised by single mother along side 5 sisters. A high school basketball star, Styyle developed a passion for music early on due to the fact his mother was a rapper. He began his first musical journey by helping found a local rap group “YungStreetRunnaz” and got over 20k views dropping a his first single “Magic” in 2017. He continued to make music on his own until he met Cornaztone through label mate Hotboi Ty. He invited Cornaztone to a studio session to do a feature on his track “Rags to Riches”. The Powerseat Music founder was so impressed by his work ethic, positive attitude, and charisma that he offered him a place on the budding Indy label. “I like to feed off energy. I tell people PSMG is starting from the ground up and that means nothing is fast or free, but if you stay down we’ll reach unexpected heights.” Cornaztone recalls, “I could see immediately that Styyle understood and wanted to help blaze the trail. I was excited to have the opportunity to work with such a passionate young artist. I see these guys as my little brothers. I was glad to have a new addition to the family.” A product of many influences Styyle’s favorite rappers are Lil Durk , Lil Uzi , and Gucci Mane.

“When I make I can feel the lyrics come to me by just listening to the beat. That’s one reason I freestyle most of my songs. I’m trying to make it out because no one here has done it and I want to be the first. I have a daughter to feed and I’m chasing my dream to provide for my family.”
