Sean “Contractor” Edwards – Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica

Have no worries f you can’t take a Caribbean vacation because Sean “Contractor” Edwards had us in mind with “Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica”!

Hosted by DJ Grio and with 15 scorching tracks, I was immediately transported to the island of Jamaica and it’s enticing music and vibes. If you are a music lover, I mean a real music lover that embraces all genres, then THIS IS FOR YOU! The hit filled album features Sean Paul “Regular Thing,”, VH1 Love and Hip Hop star Safaree (Samuels) featuring Sean Kingston “Paradise”; Swiss reggae artist Cookie The Herbalist and the legendary Lee “Scratch” Perry “Eaze”, Rollie Fresh and Chronixx “Good Life,”, Reggae star Sizzla and Tony D “Rise Up,” Mojo Morgan featuring Damian and Stephen Marley and Wyclef Jean. It’s actually pretty awesome because instead of searching spotify to create myself a playlist, “Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica” gives me dancehall meets hip hop meets r&b meets reggae all under one deck (see what i did there, cruise..deck..)

From track 1 and as the album progresses, sparks of interest come through in different tracks, while others particular standouts in this area. First let’s all agree that if there is one Ginger that respectfully embraces Jamaica’s beloved music, it is Ed Sheeran himself. Having already delivered hit music influences by dancehall meet pop coined “tropical house”, Ed and Alonestar “Real Life” has struck a chord in me. I am not sure why, but it has become my most played since streaming the album. Another track growing on me is “Good Life” with Chronixx and Rollie Fresh”.

The good thing about 15 tracks from various artists, there’s a good chance for liking at least a percentage of songs!
