Novi, Michigan USA – Rob Lalain, a self-taught musician, songwriter, and producer, has released a new song titled “The Way” from his latest album “Back to the Start” in February 2023. The 13-track album features songs that Rob has written, arranged, performed, and produced himself.
After taking a 20-year hiatus from music, Rob found himself locked down at home due to the Covid pandemic in 2020. During this time, he rediscovered his passion for songwriting and released four new songs that year, followed by three more in 2021 and one in 2022, which are all part of his latest album.
Rob has been writing songs since he was 12 years old and has kept every song he has ever written and recorded. His love for music was inspired by The Beatles, with Paul McCartney being his favorite. Rob is a self-taught musician and plays all the instruments on his songs. He was influenced by how Paul McCartney did it and wanted to play everything himself.
When he was just 17 years old, a record company tried to buy the rights to his first professionally recorded songs for two well-known artists to record and release. However, Rob wanted to be the artist at that time.
Before taking a break from music, the last song Rob recorded was his sister’s wedding song. However, now he is back with his latest album, showcasing his unique style and talent as a musician.
“The Way” is a beautiful song that captures the essence of Rob’s passion for music. It is a testament to his ability to write and produce music that speaks to people’s hearts. Rob’s latest album “Back to the Start” is a must-listen for all music enthusiasts who appreciate the artistry of self-taught musicians.
