Rebel Kicks proudly release the Official Music Video for new single, ‘Let It Out’
At its very core, ‘Let It Out’ is essentially a song about communication. So, for the music video, we thought it would be interesting to have a visual that connects different forms of communication and expression: songwriting, singing, dancing, and sign language (ASL).
The video features the immense talents of Michelle Televantos, Shelly Guy, and De’Angelo Brown (Def Familia).
Michelle, a professional dancer in NYC, choreographed an incredible, modern interpretive dance that truly nailed the essence of our song. Shelly and D’Angelo are both deaf actors heavily involved in the deaf/hearing community in NY and NJ, and their beautiful, expressive performances literally had us on the verge of tears. The final result is an extremely physical, powerful rendering that perfectly captures the emotion conveyed in the lyrics we wrote.
