For some artists, music is all about “getting” there. It’s the fame, the willingness to “make it.” For others, there is just so much more at stake. Peyton Gilliland is the perfect example of a singer who is deeply connected with her songs, and with her fans, speaking to hearts and souls through her beautiful lyrics. She’s been singing since she was only 6, and over the years, she developed a unique sound. Recently, she teamed up with a talented producer (and former Cage The Elephant guitarist) to work on her debut EP, which will be released soon. In addition to that, Peyton is also going to release her brand new single, “Hopelessly” ahead of the release.
This amazing R&B ballad is an imitate song with a unique twist. Peyton was recognized for her excellent songwriter at the John Lennon International Song Writers Competition, where she distinguished herself in 2018.
This release is an excellent step forward towards reaching out to a broader audience, and Peyton couldn’t be more excited about sharing her new songs with the world.
