June 2022 – MC SWIPA is an artist and producer who continues to create music that feels refreshingly powerful and innovative. His most recent song, DECIPHER, stands as a testament to the artist’s remarkable ability to constantly set the bar higher. Instead of just resting on his laurels or sitting in his comfort zone, MC SWIPA went ahead and shuffled the decks, doing something interesting with his music. The song begins with some interesting sampled choral vocals. A bass synthesizer follows soon after, giving the song a massive sound. The drum beat itself feels very organic and masterful as well, enabling the song to take off. MC SWIPA’s rap flow is on-point, reminiscent of old-school heroes such as Nas and A Tribe Called Quest, while also channeling the adventurous spirit of contemporary icons such as Eminem or Kanye West, only to name a few. This is definitely not your average rap artist, as this song shows!
