KADRAE PRESENTS: Superstar
KADRAE was born and raised in Houston, TX. Strongly influenced by the likes of Prince, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, The Neptunes (Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo), Timbaland, and many otheres, he began composing original tunes in addition to playing various instruments. His music span several genres including R&B/Soul, Hip-Hop, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Pop, Dance, Experimental, etc. As time went on, he would compose and produce music for fellow artists as well as release his own singles and albums (ECLECTICISM: THE JOURNEY PART ONE, DANCIN’ N2 THE SUN, and DIGITAL MAN ft LRJ). His song “PUT YOUR HANDS UP (LETITGOLETITFLOW)” earned him 2 Toronto Exclusive Online Music Awards for Best International Male R&B/Soul Producer and Best International Male R&B/Soul Singer in 2007.
His latest release, “SUPERSTAR” is collaborative effort featuring hip-hop artists Derrick FaReal & LRJ. It is produced by himself and Nahuma Holiday (aka NahumaBeatz/ProdByNahuma). Sonically, it is a combination of Hip-Hop, Trap, R&B, Screw Music, Pop, and Experimental. The message is about using facades of happiness and joy while hiding the pain of not being true to oneself. So far, SUPERSTAR has been receiving positive feedback from critics, playlist curators, DJ’s, radio personnel, and listeners.
