John Flynn presenting his holiday single, ‘My Kind of Christmas’
Singer songwriter John Flynn is a seasoned trombone slinger, keyboardist and native New Jerseyan, who has rocked the Northeast in a slew of bands. John’s hooks, hot licks, punchy horn blasts and soulful piano bites complement his expressive, honest, and gritty vocal deliveries.
“My Kind of Christmas” is about the great bygone Christmas Eve parties with wife and friends, exchanging crazy gifts and partying to the wee hours into Christmas. The song was performed by the Shackers with the help of a few great local backup singers and won ISC song writing competition first runner up in its category (no money just a certificate). It was fun to record and perform and hope you enjoy listening.
