SynClaiR (SynClair West) (Born July 18,1983) is an up and coming R&B/Pop artist who first hit the scene in 2010 as the frontman of the Hip-hop/R&B/Pop music group CALEVOLUTION and released his debut album with the group in 2011 titled “Nocturnal:Blue Edition”. However, actually he started recording music during his time attending Brown College in Mendota Heights, Minnesota when he recorded his first demo titled “Casualty” (2005) which included the songs “Keep Looking”, “Casualty”, “Look Back”, and “Tears of Blood”. The Miami, Florida native’s (born Quentinn SynClair West) music influences draw from legendary greats such as the one and only King of Pop Michael Jackson as well as R&B artist and super producer Kenny “Babyface”Edmonds. SynClaiR adds upscale apparel and a classy persona to his overall package, making his style presentation comparable to the likes of Ne-Yo. On April 24, 2013, he independently released his debut solo album “The Night Is Mine” which includes the pop single “So Special” (In which the music video thereof, SynClaiR displays “King of Pop”-like dance moves) and the West Coast Hip-hop inspired single “Beautiful Cruel One”. “SynClaiR” is a unique R&B artist you don’t want to pass up on.
