Ewan Hearns presenting his latest project, ‘Battered Mind’
I’m a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from the North of Scotland. This particular track was written on a train journey from Barcelona to Valencia. I don’t often write that much about travel but this journey felt really spacey. The train was totally empty and went right down the coast. I tried to recreate the dreamy feeling with the equipment and amps I used in the studio. it was recorded in Glasgow, where I study, and was put together a lot quicker than I expected.
