I am a songwriter, singer and acoustic guitarist based in the UK. This song is very much a collaboration with my nephew Markus Els who brought some or his alternative rock edge to the arrangement. I am inspired by the classic rock bands of the 80’s and 90’s specifically Boston, Whiteheart, Kansas and Petra.
The lyrics of the song itself are mainly about recovery from misrepresentation and betrayal and rediscovering who you are and who God has made you to be.
