A.G.K. - Ain’t Nothing Wrong (Review)

Check out this music review of the new single, ‘Ain’t Nothing Wrong’ released by A.G.K.

Rap artist A.G.K. is back on the scene with a soaring new single, “Ain’t Nothing Wrong.” This song displays a modern approach to hip-hop, although it still retains that iconic warmth that you’d expect to find on some of the best releases from the golden age of the genre. The track kicks in with a textural introduction, allowing the listener to cozy up to the atmosphere, due to the cool soul samples, giving it a vintage vibe. Then, when you least expect it, the beat creeps in, adding a massive amount of energy to the track, going full blast as the lyrics come in.

This track has got some killer East Coast vibes, which makes me think of iconic artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, Wu-Tang Clan, as well as Erik B & Rakim, only to mention but a few. I love the dry punch of the vocal sound, which has a really organic feel. A.G.K.’s lyrics are also on point, showcasing the artist’s smart and thought-provoking flow.

I am a huge fan of 90s-style hip-hop, and this gem definitely takes me back to that era, but it’s not just about the nostalgic feel. This is a vibrant song, from an artist who really has a lot to say.
