Yung Dashiki – XII BROKEN PROMISES

XII BROKEN PROMISES

Yung Dashiki presents his fresh album, “XII BROKEN PROMISES.”

Canadian-rap artist Yung Dashiki has just dropped his fresh album, “XII BROKEN PROMISES.”

The lyrics in this album delve into some deep and thought-provoking themes. The artist explores youth, love, police violence, personal pain, and the impact of substance abuse, among many other topics.

“YOUTH (intro)” is the first track, and it features jazz-inspired instrumental with female backing vocals and an engaging spoken word scene with multiple characters. It’s a fascinating and unconventional start to the album, which immediately make the artist stand out.

One of the highlights of the album is “REMEDY.” This track features a dark and direct style that recalls the likes of Tyler, the Creator, Eminem, and Tupac, to mention but a few acts. The verses in “REMEDY” are fast-paced and fluid, yet the chorus is catchy and memorable. This shows the artist’s creativity when it comes to composition.

“SURVIVOR’S GUILT” featuring Keyohh finishes off the 12-track album and it leaves you wanting more from the artist.

Even though Yung Dashiki is only eighteen years old, he has already been in the industry for three years. On top of this, he is creating music that is nuanced and layered, which speaks of wisdom and insight beyond his years.
