New single, ‘What Had Happened Was’ by VASCHON
I’m so very excited to present my first of many singles to the world! My name is VASCHON and I’m a singer/songwriter, producer, hoping to share my perspective on some of the music that I’ve loved for years with original material. Most of my songs will host a featured artist as lead singer, but for this first single, I thought I might best show everyone that I’m capable of fully handling it myself. I currently live in New York City and currently produce all my music at home. This first release titled: “What Had Happened Was” is a fun dance song that brings two funny concepts together. The first is referencing a phrase many youngsters use when attempting to lie to their parents about a misdeed, (that phrase being the title of the song); and the second is my take on the age-old story of Little Red Riding Hood. For this song, she comes home late from partying to her grandma who was worried sick, and praying that she hadn’t been captured by the wolf. I think it’s a fun song for the summer of 2021 and I hope you do too.
