TRABS – TRABS rocks

The resurrection of the 8-bit heroes.
In the music video “TRABS rocks”, musician TRABS revives the digital pioneers of the MTV music video area.

Pop rock punk icon TRABS from Finsing, Lower Bavaria, releases the music video “TRABS rocks” for the song of the same name. In this music clip, TRABS and a virtual DJ ROBO rock the cyberspace disco as 8-bit stars. The robots have the low resolution 3D wireframe look of the 80s and are masterfully staged and animated by TRABS. Exactly that looks so incredibly retro and fascinates the viewer.

“When I first saw the digitally animated characters in the music video “Money for nothing” by the Dire Straits on MTV, I was thrilled,” says music and multimedia artist TRABS. “When I was thinking about the video art concept for my new song, the idea came to me: Retro computers and the 8-bit style are all the rage at the moment – I’m recording the theme. That was the initial spark for the style of the video,” continues TRABS. So it’s not surprising that the music video is designed in 80s Synthwave style.

About the sound: In the song “TRABS rocks” funky disco beats of the 80s merge with robot vocals and electro effects of modern times to an incredibly gripping crossover sound.
