ToyMachine! Releasing Brand New Studio Single, Buzzer.
For many years, hard-rock and hip-hop have been sworn enemies. Then, some of the most open-minded artists on the scene helped change things and set the bar higher. When RUN DMC and Aerosmith created their new version of “Walk This Way,” they broke the wall down (literally, if you watch the music video) and paved the way for many other artists to slip out of Pandora’s box.
ToyMachine! is one of the hottest new acts to successfully blend hard rock and rap into something that’s quite one-of-a-kind and extremely personal. Their new single, Buzzer, stands out as a great example of what they can do, combining the heavy-hitting, raw edge of rock music with the sophisticated rhythm content of hip-hop, not to mention its groove and affinity for different creative ideas and musical influences.
ToyMachine! doesn’t have that traditional “rock band with a singer who raps” sound, but they definitely took their formula someplace else, going for a more unique take on this timeless genre mash-up.
