The Rain Dogs drop their new album: The View From Here
Continuing to make their unique journey through many areas of ambient and leftfield postrock and prog, The Rain Dogs offer up a new album of introspective and minimalist pieces.
“The View From Here: Improvisations for Enhanced Piano” is very much a stream of consciousness committed to keyboard: a series of loose, open improvisations on piano – layered with natural harmonic distortions and atmospherics – along with washes of underlying textures, drones, and reverbs.
A soundtrack to the band’s local landscapes and seascapes in South Wales, “The View From Here” is a truly immersive experience in sound and free improvisation.
