November 2020 – Stickmane is back on the scene with a fantastic new EP titled “The Tetris Effect.” This record features a wide range of influences, including hip-hop and emo-trap, only to mention but a few.
This EP stays true to the best sounds of modern trap music, but it adds a different dimension to the genre, going for a more atmospheric and ambient-driven approach. I would highly recommend listening to this particular release if you are a fan of artists such as Lil Peep, Trippie Redd as well as XXXTENTACION, or Juice WRLD, only to mention a few. The EP actually features 5 songs, each bringing something new and quite special to the table. The lyrics stand out because they are personal, straying from the usual cliches of the genre and going for a more introspective feel, where melody and flow coexist perfectly. The production is also really smooth, highlighting the natural dynamics of this release.
