Sheyna – Heartbeat

Presenting new single, ‘Heartbeat’ by Sheyna 

A dance song with an electronic deep house vibe. I was inspired to write “Heartbeat” in the days leading up to my birthday (to commemorate the end of the year). The song symbolizes moving ahead and rising above. I like to think of this song as a lookout on the top of a mountain that I have been climbing all year. As I finally reached the top; I am looking at the big picture of my life – my faith, my goals and my beliefs. I am thankful for the lessons I have been taught (even if I had to learn them through pain). “Letting go, I am living. Moving forward, forgiving.” It takes a lot of strength to forgive; however, in order to move forward and heal – it is essential to fully let go and accept the fact that everything happens for a reason. The heart is resilient. “But I tell myself it’s ok. My heartbeat’s running, running to the beat of my drum.”
