Scott Linker is a singer and songwriter based in Las Vegas, Nevada. His music escape the usual boundaries and general definitions, because he loves to set the bar higher and experiment with different styles and ideas.
Recently, Scott decided to explore his love for textural experimental music, condensed into a new exciting single release: “Metal Orchestra Symphony.” The sound of this release makes me think of influential artist such as Tom waits, Nick Cave, or Bob Dylan, only to mention but a few. Scott’s poignant lyrics are often quite surrealistic, yet really easy to relate to. In fact, storytelling is really a very important part of his sound and on songs like “Metal Orchestra Symphony” he really sets out to capture the imagination of the crowd, painting a very fascinating picture with the sound of his music.
From the low five vintage electric keyboard sounds down to the distorted drums and percussion, every element of this track makes the song special and one-of-a-kind. The production is a perfect match for Scott’s unique voice and singing style as well.
