S.C.B. releases new rap single “Just Wait.”
S.C.B. (Steelcity Boyz) is a talented and forward-thinking rap group based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their sound could really be described as a combination of classic hip-hop and modern melodies, with dashes of neo-soul and R&B, but still retaining a very rap-centric vibe. Recently, S.C.B. hooked up with producer Big Jerm in order to release a new track, “Just Wait.”
This song is filled with punchy beats, it has a deep low end, and it really stands out melodically, as well as lyricaly. S.C.B. has a distinctive tone and feel, which may actually remind you of artists such as Biggie Smalls or Eminal, as well as gritty alt rap folks the likes of Beastie Boys or Looptroopers, only to mention but a few. At the end of the day, “Just Wait” is particularly remarkable, because it is really all about the attitude.
This no-frills rap song is proof that you don’t need anything fancy to stand out, and this production is absolutely stellar in every way – from the balance of the instrumental, down to the well-calibrated lyrical flow, which truly hits the mark.
