ArtistRack brings to you ‘Magic and the Mystery’ by Ron Ramsey, Jr.
We thought after last year’s success with “Life in Time”, Ron’s new album would move toward mainstream Country. WRONG! This guy continues to stretch the “country music tent” to the breaking point and we couldn’t be happier. “Magic and the Mystery” is atmospheric, it’s long (6 plus minutes), it swings, and it ROCKS!
He can write, he can sing, and these guys can flat out play! It’s like Steve Earl got Dave Grohl to play drums for him!
I really don’t think Ron Ramsey, Jr. is a Country Artist, I definitely think Ron Ramsey, Jr. is a BAD ASS! You keep stretching that tent Ronnie, soon it’s gonna be big enough for us all.
