Rexx is a producer and artist based in Fontana, California. His vision is simple? Carry the banner of the best tech house music, and sharing good vibes and massive beats with people everywhere! He recently released a brand new single titled “Master.” This song is like a bottle of pure energy being uncapped, unleashing so much power on the audience and giving people a reason to jump onto the dance floor!
Influenced by artists like Green Velvet and even Carl Cox, Rexx set out to learn from the masters of the genre, but he also went to great lengths to create a sound that’s highly well-defined and incredibly exciting, with so much personality to it. The song begins with a classic techno inspired beat. This means that the high-hat keep the pace, while the kick drum is anchored to the floor, driving the rhythm with intensity. The snare / clap sounds are cutting through the mix to perfection, and the song has a rather minimalistic approach, relying on twisted vocal samples rather than overcrowding the track with melodic elements and other embellishments. This is all about the rhythm!
