November 2020 – Pop Wallace recently released his excellent debut album, “Good Boy.” This record feels like a perfect introduction to the sound and feel of this exciting upcoming artist, and it is incredibly well-produced. “Good Boy” features 12 original songs, highlighting the artist’s diverse creative range. He was actually active in music a few years back but eventually decided to take a break. After over 10 years away from the limelight and the studio, he is finally back in full force, determined to do his best work yet.

The album kicks off with the beautiful introductory track, “Can’t Be It.” This song lends a magnetic mood to the album, highlighting the artist’s focus on chill atmospheric sounds and more. If you are a fan of modern neo-soul and R&B aesthetics with a touch of chillwave, this one is definitely going to be right up your alley. There is room for so many influences, from the old-school flair of “And If” down to the lush sonic landscapes of “Gone,” anything goes.
