I explored the action of writing something down, and how that helps to preserve memory. However, while I was reflecting, I began to think, what if simply putting pen to paper isn’t enough? I needed more, something deeper. I wanted to record events that have impacted my life beneath the skin. Eventually, this became a song: Tattoo on My Heart.
Returning to nature to escape the world has been a habit of mine since childhood. It is where my romantic heart can find peace. In the video, nature serves as a place where I can gather my thoughts and feel serenity.
Love has a transformative power. It can be like poison or it can make you well. I return to nature and I am reborn, like a butterfly from its cocoon, a spider from the egg, or a flower from the seed. By turning my experiences into something beautiful, I become who I was always meant to be.
