Peyton Gilliland – Magnetic

Peyton Gilliland introducing new single release, “Magnetic”

Peyton Gilliland has been making music since she was only a little kid. From her first singing lesson at age 6, down to her outstanding achievements as an artist, she has matured so much, and her audience certainly noticed. Her unique style tips the hat off to influential performers like Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, or Amy Winehouse, but with a spicy kick that’s all Peyton!

Her most recent studio single, “Magnetic” is a great step forward for her career. The sound is catchy and balanced, yet it is obvious that Peyton is not afraid to take chances with her music, setting the bar higher and exploring new ideas. Although this is a very edgy production, it still has an irresistible pop edge, which makes the track extremely appealing and easy to relate to. Peyton Gilliland is a star in the making, and if you had any doubt about it, this song will definitely prove you wrong!

Peyton Gilliland is preparing to release her next new single, ‘Ruthless’ which will released and distributed by Sony, this is definitely one to look out for.

Bio

Peyton Gilliland is from a very small town in North AL and started taking singing lessons at 6. Her favorite artist include Cage the Elephant (first band shirt she ever bought and still sports) Malone (her husband),, Cardi B, Drake, Billie Ellish, all over the board. However she most admires, Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse and Beyonce because of their big vocals and voice control. She loves horses and shows jumping horses in her spare time while keeping up good grades in a small high-school, which she will tell you can sometimes be challenging.

She is only a sophomore in HS was just named as a finalist in the R&B section of the John Lennon International Song Writers Competition with her song, Hopelessly. It was also featured as a Staff Pick on Radio Airplay. She co-wrote this song with Hannah Arn as a 15 year old. She second song that she co-wrote with Hannah was just released Nov 20th, called Magnetic and they just received word that Magnetic is moving forward in all 4 categories it was entered into, including Pop/top40 and R&B, for ISC2018, (International Song Competition). Magnetic was also included on several Spotify playlist including Walgreens. Radio Airplay has submitted her songs to radio stations worldwide and they are currently being played in Australia, Germany, London, Indonesia (Random), Japan and of course the US.

Peyton describes her style as very Demi Lovato as far as vocals go but also with the darker Amy Winehouse undertones. She loves the guitar in “you should be stronger than me” Amy song (the live version) and over all likes to keep things pretty organic so she loves it when the grove comes from the instruments particularly the guitar (bass and electric are her favorite) and drums. I love tracks like Hozier “movement” and the Alabama Shakes. Real music, the type that makes you want to dance or even a little head bang. With that being said she also loves a good beat being thrown in the mix with what she’s described.
