April 2020: These are not easy times for artists and musicians. With the Coronavirus crisis hitting the world hard, some performers have been stripped of their livelihood, which in some cases largely depend on live performances.
Not all artists are big enough to survive on streaming and recorded music income alone. For this reason, it is quite important for them to stay strong, and for their communities to support them. What would it be like out there without art or artists? Some people don’t think too much about the importance of the arts, but a world without them might be completely shocking.
This is the scenario portrayed by singer and songwriter Nick Davies in his most recent studio single, “Earth Without Art.” This is a beautiful song that has a great production and lyrics that truly come from the heart.
