Guitarist / Songwriter Chris Doherty explains ” I wrote the song when I was going thru a punk stage which was short lived and the song was filed away for many years. When I found it again and played it on the acoustics guitar in my mind I could hear the flute and guitar melodies which makes up most of the instrumental part in the first half of the song. The second part moves into the heavy guitar riffs as originally written. When I added the link to Christianity while recording I realised the song was about a pastor I have met only most of the song was written 25 years before I met him”.
