LaPrima releasing new single, “No More.”
LaPrima is a singer and songwriter based in London. Her sound is incredibly lush and textural, channeling genres as diverse as indie pop and trip-hop, among others.
From the soothing melodies of Massive Attack, to the charismatic vocal energy of singers like Dua Lipa, the singer managed to carve a very interesting sonic niche for herself. Recently, she wrapped up a new song titled “No More.”
The track immediately strikes for its kalimba melodies and beautiful electronic textures. LaPrima’s vocals are direct, bright and melodic, making me think of artists such as Billie Elish, Halsey, and Rihanna, only to mention but a few. “No More” is a very melodic and forward-thinking track with a phenomenal production, reflecting the modern approach to the genre, in terms of what can be achieved sonically.
Technicalities aside, LaPrima came out with a banger: part pop, part hauntingly harmonic, and part EDM banger, it just cannot be stopped!a
