The up-tempo, acoustic folk track ‘Maybe Forever’ was written by James Douglas Cooper as a love song to his partner when they were separated against their will during the travel interruptions of 2020. The song was performed live and recorded at a cosy little cafe on Sydney’s beaches (the rendition you’ll hear on this release) and sent out via the internet airwaves to Cooper’s partner. After being separated for a total of 8.5 months against their will, the pair were finally re-united and this song echos that powerful love connection between two people that exists over time and space.
