Introducing Jenn Connor

Jenn Connor

Standing out among today’s pop artists, Jenn Connor is bringing a fresh look and innovative sound that is turning the heads of leading music producers and fans alike.

Originally from a small town in Ontario, Canada, Jenn began posting original songs that were catchy, danceable and appealing beyond traditional pop boundaries. Her work was noticed by LA based producer, Tomas Costanza (Secondhand Serenade, Boys Like Girls, 2 Chainz) and the two collaborated on additional original content.

Tomas was quick to recognize Jenn’s talent, passion and truly unique sound. “Jenn is a breath of fresh air in a business filled with musical sludge. She doesn’t carry any of the baggage of many of today’s young singers and is truly about the music first. Working with her is an absolute pleasure. She doesn’t worry about creating a product, she only concerns herself with making music she loves.” – Tomas Costanza

Girlfriend, a pop/dance song produced by Tomas and cowritten by Jenn and songwriter Ashley Levy was featured on Psych Word Radio Show (88.7 fm in Connecticut) and recently topped the global pop charts on Tradiio and top 40 on Reverb Nation.

Jenn is excited about the upcoming release of her EP, Come Alive, produced by Toronto based, award winning producer Douglas Romanow (Justin Bieber, Johnny Reid). Doug discovered Jenn on Twitter after hearing her work with Tomas Costanza. Come Alive brings an exciting mixture of pop/dance/ R&B that reveals an emotional depth as well as a lightheartedness true to Jenn’s love of life. The EP features Katy Perry guitarist Patrick Matera.

“Jenn Connor is a fresh new voice in the Canadian pop scene, bringing a strong mix of pop and dance songs with a crisp vocal and original image. It was awesome to work with Jenn on Come Alive. She’s doing great things!” – Douglas Romanow

Jenn performs at various venues across Ontario, including local charity events. She recently had the opportunity to perform with pop star Cody Simpson at the annual Family Day LA event.

Jenn demonstrated at a young age a willingness and ability to perform, singing Hilary Duff’s “Wake Up” at the local town fair when she was 10 years old. That same year Jenn was chosen to play the lead in her school’s senior musical production of Cinderella. This early onstage experience led to additional opportunities in high school and furthered her interest in pursuing a career in music.

Her love of music extends beyond her singing – Jenn plays piano, clarinet and “fools around” with guitar. She loves to dance and the freedom and fun which it brings to her performances. Outside of her life in music Jenn models part-time and is an over the top animal lover.

Inspired by Criss Angel and Michael Jackson, it has always been Jenn’s goal to set a strong example for young teenagers through her music – to help others believe in themselves and strive to achieve through hard work and dedication.
