ArtistRack manages to catch up with the talented Reese Warren for this exclusive interview:
There are very few artists that are making their mark from such a young age, quite like Reese Warren. Her sound is profoundly authentic and dripped in realness as she fuses an innocent delivery with softly soothing songwriting. The fun-filled youngster is currently known as the voice of MC Swag on LOL House of Surprises. Her schedule is busier than most tweens her age and she handles it with grace and professionalism.
Inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, the young singer has been working on her craft since she was just six years old. Learning guitar at the age of eight and writing songs at just ten years old. She hopes to be a globally recognized artist just like her idols. She is finishing up new music and will be releasing her Debut EP very soon.
Where are you from?
I am from Murrieta, CA but I am based out of Los Angeles
How long have you been making music?
I started recording music when I was 11 years old.
How many songs /albums have you released to date?
I have 1 song released as of today and three additional songs that will be released very soon.
Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?
I have two new songs releasing. One song is about my first crush and the working name is Number 1 Crush. My second song is about me turning 13 and is aptly named 13.
How have you ended up in the music industry?
I have wanted to be a professional performer since I was 6 years old.
What do you think of the music industry in 2022?
I think I need to train hard, work hard and stand out to increase my opportunities

Billie Eilish
Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
I have not gotten a chance to collaborate with anyone yet. I have a few on my list though.
How do you think you differ from other artists?
I think I am wise beyond my years. My youth combined with my life experiences makes me unique!

Taylor Swift and/or Justin Bieber

OMGsh!
What other hobbies or interests do you have?
I like to camp, go to the beach, swim, play video games, watch TV and hang out with my family and friends.
Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
My ears are pierced
Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?
I worked with JoJo Tua on Number 1 Crush and with the Music Vault Academy for 13. I am so excited to share both songs. They will be releasing very soon.
What’s in the pipeline after this project?
I have a song I recorded a year ago and never released. I am going to remix it and then release it. I am in a Pixar movie coming out soon and have to balance my acting and music reschedules so I can play more live performances.
