Kritikel, welcome to Artist Rack! How’s it going?
It’s goin, Thanks for inviting me.
Where are you from?
I’m from El Centro, a small town located in Southern California.
How long have you been making music?
I’ve been making music for a total of 8 years.
How many songs /albums have you released to date?
I’ve released a total of 3 Albums, and I’m currently working on my 4th.
Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?
My latest release would be “Henneything”, I’m sure the title is self explanatory haha. Inspired by the one and only Hennessy. Anything can happen on that Hennessy haha.
How have you ended up in the music industry?
I’ve ended where up i need to be, right now. I’m still far from where i should be, but I’m definitely still learning and growing more and more every day.
What do you think of the music industry in 2018?
You know, i don’t think there’s really a right answer to this question, but in my opinion i feel like the music industry is adapting. It’s definitely not the same as it was 20 or even 10 years ago which isn’t entirely bad depending on your stand point on today’s artist.
Who do you think the most influential artist?
Tech N9ne. I love the way he build his empire. Coming from a place of diversity and misunderstanding. Just a voice trying to be heard. I can definitely relate.
Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
Not to down talk because I’m definitely a fan. I have a few collabs all local. Shouts out, Big Mayne, Rick Doza, Eazy, No Luck, Lolo, and BigMike Torres. It’s All Love.
How do you think you differ from other artists?
At the risk of sounding cliche. I want it more, but i don’t hate on progress. I’m a fan of music. So whether its me or one of my fellow locals or any artist out there trying make it at the end of the day it’s all love. There’s nothing wrong with a little competition.
Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?
Man, I got a few. Alive, Tech N9ne (of course), Futuristic, Hopsin, Snow Tha Product, Fabolous, Jeezy and Dead. Just one, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
What was the first album you bought?
The first album i actually bought bought, I wanna say, “Hybrid Theory” by Linkin Park.
What’s your favourite song at the moment?
At the moment, I would have to say “Zombie” by The Cranberries.
If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your draw?
Tech N9ne’s “All 6’s and 7’s” or KOD. Definitely one of those two.
What is your favourite saying?
Haha. You know what it be.
What other hobbies or interests do you have?
I have an interest in electronics. Always have. I should look into that.
Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
Yes, I have 9 tattoos? I Think.
Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?
B.L.EST. Better Living Established. That would be album number 4. It’s gonna be a beautiful reflection of my life. I’m living blessed right now, so I feel it’s only fair to my and those around me that the title of this album shows just that. It’s gonna be dope.
What’s in the pipeline after this project?
After this, videos, promotion, videos, promotion, and more music.
