Where are you from?

I’m originally from Chicago, but I’ve been living in Los Angeles for the past 8 years!

How long have you been making music?

I’ve always loved singing and writing songs, but my very first official release was in 2015. At 10 years old, I dropped “When I Grow Up” and have continued making music since then.

How many songs /albums have you released to date?

I have over a dozen original singles out everywhere in addition to numerous covers and remixes.

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?

I think all of us have had to deal with toxicity in our lives, whether that be in a friendship or relationship. That’s why “Toxic” is about standing up for yourself against toxic individuals!

How have you ended up in the music industry?

I began working with a music producer when I was 10 and he was incredibly helpful in showing me the ropes of the industry. Since then, I’ve worked with so many talented producers and musicians!

What do you think of the music industry in 2022?

I think that, despite its flaws, the music industry represents a large spectrum of different types of songs that allows everyone to be able to find music that they enjoy, which is definitely the most important part of music!

Who do you think the most influential artist?

Not sure about the most influential artist of today, but Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and The Weeknd have been super important in inspiring other artists and modern types of music!

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?

I’ve worked with numerous artists including Ricardo Padua who is a Grammy-shortlisted producer, Robbie Rosen who is an American Idol finalist and vocal coach, and Little Rain who is another amazing music producer with numerous hits.

How do you think you differ from other artists?

I am different from other artists because of my passion for my craft!

Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?

Conan Gray hands down! He’s my favorite singer and his songwriting is incredibly relatable and articulate. He’s such an inspiration!

What was the first album you bought?

The first album I listened to was probably Red by Taylor Swift and the first vinyl album I purchased was When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? by Billie Eilish.

What’s your favourite song at the moment?

I love Sacrifice by The Weeknd and Checkmate by Conan Gray!

If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your draw?

Probably the Hamilton soundtrack! I’ve loved Hamilton since 2018 and it’s honestly a work of art. I’m a huge fan and I can’t imagine not listening to it again!

What is your favourite saying?

Actions speak louder than words. I think that this saying is so important because it reminds us to back up our words with actions! Rather than simply making empty promises, we need to make an impact by taking action.

What other hobbies or interests do you have?

I love competing in debate tournaments, playing with my 4 rescue cats, volunteering, acting, and exercising!

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?

I have my ears pierced!

Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?

My newest single called “Toxic” will be released on July 1st! It may or may not be a part of something bigger coming up.

What’s in the pipeline after this project?

I have a ton of new music in the works! Stay tuned on my social media for updates.

Thank you for your time and may you carry on making great, fresh music.

Thank you so much for the interview!
