Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?
With the warm-up scenes he produced for world-famous stars such as Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga, DJ/Producer Erkan Yavas extended his achievements from Turkey to the international platforms and has been going on his works in New York City, Los Angeles, and Istanbul. Erkan Yavas’ new project, The Hanging Tree mix, is available on all digital platforms now!
Erkan Yavas collaborated with composer and musician Can Canel on the orchestral partitions of the song. Can Canel studied at the Film Scoring Department of the Berklee College of Music with a scholarship and graduated with an honors degree and has been living in the US since then. While the vocals of the cover song were recorded in South Africa, the Mix/Mastering was performed by Erol Temizel, one of the leading composers in Turkey.
The production, which draws attention with its deep bass and rhythmic beats, is a new mix of The Hanging Tree, the soundtrack of The Hunger Games, with disco house and pop sound.

What did you think of the music industry in 2021?
For 2020 and 2021 are not a good time for live shows but it’s also open live stream more industry workers can be more productive but hard time for stage workers or live sessions musicians.

3 times Merve Deniz, Buel and Can Canel
How do you think you differ from other artists?
I have 22 years of experience in DJ ing and Radio Production and everyone has their own unique DNA for music

I can’t all collection is important for me I should try to another way to make money 🙂

Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?
I have 4 ready to go songs but sometimes finishing is really hard every single time I found something and try to change. All for songs are Disco House and I am so excited to release them.
