What Is Love? the debut release for Australian artist HUNTER. What Is Love? Love is exactly what you feel when you listen to HUNTER’S first offering as an outstanding teenage artist with the skill and professionalism of someone who has been working in the industry for several years. HUNTER is the real deal, he is not a winner or runner up on a variety television program, he is not a manufactured pop or virtual artist – he is a competent song writer, vocalist, multi skilled musician who has been working at his dream of creating and releasing music from the age of 4. With the support network of his as equally talented family, HUNTER has been able to experience the multi genre face of the industry.
For the release of WHAT IS LOVE? PM Records has worked with a massive team of producers and remixes from Melbourne & The Gold Coast (Australia), Los Angeles and Paris to bring together a delightful package of WHAT IS LOVE?, radio and dance remixes. HUNTER’s family greatly assisted XO MEDIA with the production of a series of music videos that we are all extremely proud of to promote WHAT IS LOVE?
The two radio versions are unique in their approach to the song’s core, with the Radio Mix focussing on a modern interpretation with retro 80’s & 90’s nods to the use of synthesiser, vocal techniques, and sampling whereas overseas remixers have adapted the song into a massive dance club feel with passive, nearly naked verse structures to showcase HUTHER’S vocal range. Just as you feel you may be listening to an Ed Sheeran ballad, the chorus erupts with a modern musical landscape of beats, samples, synth & drum loops that lift the song to the life of any party.
