High Point introducing new single, California Sunrise.
High Point is an artist and performer based in Santa Clarita, California (Los Angeles.) His music sets the bar higher with a genre-defying approach, incorporating influences as diverse as pop and R&B. More importantly, High Point is all about creating some truly inspiring lyrics with a positive message.
His most recent single, California Sunrise, was inspired by the story of Barry, a man who was homeless, but received some help over the course of 2 years. Through the kindness of a person named Cody, Barry found his mom, got an ID, and finally made a friend. However, Barry overdosed soon after.
The artist thought about how often homeless people are mistreated in society, so he decided he was going to play his part. He purchased hundreds of granola bars, attached positive notes reading “You are worth all the love in the world” to each and everyone of them and handed them out. Receiving the bar was an emotional experience for many people and at the very least, it brought a smile on everyone’s faces! This song channels the positive vibe of that experience, setting a strong example for others to follow.
