Hannah & April Zhan – Theme “Schindler’s List” Violin Piano Duet

Notes of Hope perform John William’s “Theme from Schindler’s List” at Groundworks, performing as Notes of hope is April Zhang and Hannah Zhang

Hannah, 15 yr old, currently sophomore at Basis Oro Valley, Arizona. She started learning violin since 7 years old. Her teachers are Vladimir Arakelov and David Rife. She plays at Tucson Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Tucson Youth String Chamber I. April, Hannah’s sister, 17 years old, started playing piano since 6 years old. April’s teacher is Svetlana Arakelova and Leeza Beriyeva. The sisters have won several ensemble music competitions including Tucson Music Teacher Association Merit Scholarship Competition, Civic of Tucson Orchestra Young Artist Competition, American Protégé International Music Talent Competition. The sister founded an organization called “Notes of Hope Youth” to help seniors isolated during pandemic.

They also collaborate with other non-profit music organizations to better benefit seniors.

Theme “Schindler’s list” expressed the memories for the lost souls during holocaust WWII. Moreover, it is a rememberance for the beloved ones we lost then and now. They are forever in our heart.
